AN ARTS, MOVEMENT, AND PERFORMANCE COMMUNITY:
RUN BY WOMEN, FOR EVERYONE
Empowering body positivity, inclusivity, and community.
Drenched 110+ years of charm, Metropolitan Studios Arts & Movement Community is an affordable creative space in the heart of Atlanta's East Atlanta Village. We are an event venue, community gathering space, and Atlanta, Georgia's Burlesque & Cabaret House, home to the Atlanta School of Burlesque and the award-winning Candybox Revue burlesque entertainment troupe.
We're proud to be queer-women owned and are grateful that you choose to make magic with us.
From burlesque classes and movement classes, live burlesque shows in Georgia and private events like weddings and shows, to creativity and community, #magicshithappenshere!
The space keeps its original details, while boasting a burlesque-centric reception area, kitchen, gender neutral bathroom, and more - magic included. This is a genuine, inviting space. From our peacock themed reception area to our Burlesque Wall of Legends, you'll know that you are somewhere special the moment you walk in the door.

"The three beautiful ladies who run this studio are wonderfully supportive and also wonderfully talented. It has been a pleasure to be a part of the going-ons at the studio, and I can't wait to continue my journey there. I encourage anyone to participate here at whatever level and interest they have: yoga, Zumba, burlesque, etc. You will be surrounded by lovely people who will support you and help give you the confidence that so many of us are missing."
