BURLESQUE DROP-INS

BURLESQUE BASICS

Learn Burlesque Basics with the critically celebrated and award-winning teachers of The Atlanta School of Burlesque! Go through a brief tour of the space and learn about Burlesque Legends, The Burlesque Hall of Fame, and some notable points in Burlesque history. Then move into the classroom where our instructors will review fundamental Burlesque movement and walks which culminate in a short routine. No experience required and all bodies and skill levels are welcome!

  • Dance/character shoes or strapped toe shoes with a 2-3 inch heel.

  • Other acceptable footwear include: jazz flats, salsa shoes or barefoot.

BOUDOIR BURLESQUE

Learn slow and sultry burlesque with a twist on classic choreography. Boudoir Burlesque specifically teaches you the fundamentals of burlesque and will have you leaving class loving your body and ready to show off your new moves to someone special!

Boudoir Burlesque
TRICKS OF THE TRADE
Instructor: Zara Estelle
Sundays, 7:00 - 8:00 PM

Let's fuse your chair and floorwork with specialty dance tricks to spice up your dance vocabulary for routines! This class is designed to gradually push your limits, and help you gain more trust with yourself. In this class you will learn stretching, strengthening, flexibility, transitions on and off on the ground, rolls, tricks, leg work, and is a full body workout focusing on the core.

Sexify Signature and Sexify Sacred Fire are a one-of-a-kind dance experience in an affirming and welcoming environment! Learning dance movements that add hot tricks to your bag. Dance with fun people who cultivate a sense of a collective experience and support for your journey through your body; one that embodies the true essence of who you are.

 

Sexify Signature and Sexify Sacred Fire fitness components make this an ultimate workout that will leave you feeling worked, empowered, and in tune with your flow. You will want to push yourself out of your comfort zone - and you'll look hot doing it!

Our Sexify Certified instructors teach real-life sensual movements that can make us feel more confident, powerful, and expressive. We understand how all bodies are different and hold space for that. We believe that all bodies are good bodies. This class is typically done to one song, so you can get the choreography and musicality. Open to all levels, no experience required.

  • Geared towards individuals with no dance experience.

  • You don't need any particular strengths, rhythm, or to be in good shape to get started.

  • Sensual dance fitness brings an awareness of your body and improved coordination.

  • This is an LGBTQ+ affirming fitness class that is open to all women, and those whose orientation and gender self-identification or expression are other than man/men.

  • There is always a possibility of adult themes and language usage in this class.

  • We welcome people from all walks of life. You'll meet uniquely supportive babes as you dance, strengthen, and stretch your way through the class.

  • Students tell us they are never bored in this class and that you won't feel like you're working out - until you wake up the next morning.

In Sexify Signature sensual movement class, you will feel enlightened and empowered, leaving class feeling more in tune with your innate flow.

Class includes sensual movement and fitness components for an ultimate workout!

Fire allows for rapid transformation. It provides the avenue to let go of the old story and drama, to transform, to renew, and to be reborn. Join in a women-only sensual dance workout where you can burn up to 500 calories in a class!

This class incorporates chair dance, floor work, wall dance, and more in a ritualistic setting to promote inner fire and sensual connection! All classes include sensual and fitness components for an ultimate workout! Please note that candles, incense, and essential oils may be used during this class.

STRETCHING & CONDITIONING

We believe that yoga is for every body type, and we focus on your personal goals. Our aim is to be inclusive and give you a personal experience within a small group setting. 

We strive to cultivate an environment that is supportive, without judgment, where everyone feels good about the body they're in.

SENSUAL YOGA

Fridays, 6:30 PM-7:30 PM

This yoga class practices a deep and abiding acceptance of your body, mind, and spirit. You will utilize alignment-based, all levels yoga, combined with positive affirmations and respect to your anatomy to pull yourself into a stronger, more sensual sense of self!

Instructor Talloolah Love comes from 19 years of sensual dance, and 4 years of teaching Prajna Yoga in Atlanta. She brings her knowledge of these two disciplines to Sensu-All Bodies Stretch class. This is a non-performative, non-judgmental atmosphere where you can meet your body and mind where they are, so you can strive to be where you want to be.

 

Class begins with a 15-minute warm-up, 30 minutes of core, strengthening exercises, stretches, and body resistance training. Then, a 10-minute cooldown, followed by a 5-minute meditation.
