Narrated by Lilly Tomlin, The Celluloid Closet takes a thought-provoking look at the decades of omission and misrepresentation endured by the LGBTQ community in mainstream cinema. The film is based on the book by Vito Russo with historic film clips and contributions from Hollywood stars, directors, screenwriters and academics.
