Course Description

Harlots & Starlets is your chance to explore your confidence and own your power. This course is for dancers of all levels looking to add sass and spice to their lives, build confidence, and embrace their sexuality. This course is all about the power of owning your sexual prowess.

Students are expected to provide basic "dance blacks" - black character shoes, black fishnets, black bra, and black shorts.

Learning Outcomes

• Learn one (1) choreographed routine.

• Learn to evaluate movement skills in terms of space, time, and force, and reproduce accurately through your own body. 

• Analyze a dance performance in terms of choreography, performance, and theatrical elements.

• Demonstrate clarity of intent while applying kinesthetic principles for all dance elements.   Receive a skill assessment.

What to Bring

• Dance/character shoes or strapped toe shoes with a 2–3-inch heel.

• Other acceptable footwear includes jazz flats, salsa shoes, or barefoot.

• Kneepads

• Water
