Course Description

This 60s-inspired go-go dance course incorporates assels and fringe to add a touch of playful tease to your routine. Learn how to use these iconic props to create eye-catching tricks and reveals. This high-energy, burlesque course is for anyone who wants to strut their stuff, own their sexuality, and have a blast doing it! Get ready to shimmy, shake, and leave your inhibitions at the door.

Progressive students may have the opportunity to perform at the end of semester showcase. Students would be required to furnish their own costumes. 

Learning Outcomes

• Learn the foundations of 60s style go-go dance

• Learn how to properly twirl assles

• Learn (1) one choreographed routine per session

• Make (1) one pair of assles to be used for the showcase
