Class Description

Instructor: Roula Roulette 12/5 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM Price: $35 Basic Costuming: Burlesque Bra Coverings will cover . . . well . . . how to cover a bra, and different tips on how to make it peel-able for stage. This workshop requires you to bring a list of items. Please be sure to check your list twice before coming to the workshop so you can leave with your own stage worthy bra! Requirements: - A hard cup bra that fits you or is slightly big on you. Think a push-up bra, or one that has thicker cups. - 4-way stretch material (Just ask for the bathing suit material at the fabric store. The shop folks will help you out) - Straight pins - Thread that matches your fabric - Needle What you will learn: - how to make a bra not look "off the rack" - basic sewing skills - basic draping skills - adding an additional closure - how to attach stones to stretch fabric This workshop is part of Burlesque Academy's All Levels, Burlesque I, Sex Magick for the Stage, and Striptease courses and is also available as an independent workshop.

Cancellation Policy

You must notify Metropolitan Studios at least 3 hours before class starts, or class will be deducted from your account and considered “used” even though you were not present.
