Burlesque Academy: Bloomtastic Burlesque

Class Description

Instructor: Bleu Pearl Schedule: Mondays, 8:30 PM - 10:00 PM Twelve (12) weeks + student showcase Session 1: 10/14-11/18 Session 2: 12/2-1/13 No Class 12/23 Dress Rehearsal: January 19 Student Showcase: February 7 & 8 Price: $750 A beginner-friendly acro-chair series that focuses on flexibility, strength, balance, eye contact, and sensuality.  Students will learn the proper body and leg positions. Bloomtastic helps students learn to maintain and improve their range of motion, with the goal of executing acro-chair moves safely, with minimal to no risk of injury. This series will include 40 minutes in acro, 20 minutes in dance, and the remaining time focusing on eye contact, connecting with ourselves so our movements flow effortlessly.    Students are expected to provide basic "dance blacks" - black character shoes, black fishnets, black bra, and black shorts. LEARNING OUTCOMES: Learn two (2) choreographed routines The importance of eye contact  Acro-chair tricks  Basic transitions WHAT TO BRING:  Dance/character shoes or strapped toe shoes with a 2–3-inch heel. Cancellation Policy

You must notify Metropolitan Studios at least 3 hours before class starts, or class will be deducted from your account and considered “used” even though you were not present.
