July 29 - August 2 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM $60 a day • Book the class in your child’s name • Must register for each day separately Instructor: Zara Estelle Keep your kids moving and flexing their creativity this summer! Our Dancy Kids for 7-10 year olds welcome kids of all abilities and backgrounds. Dancy Kids focuses on discovery and exploration through daily activities that include age-appropriate creative dance and movement, prop work, and dance storytelling to help develop a sense of rhythm and self-expression. All through the basics of hip-hop, ballet, and jazz dance. 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM Morning check-in • Hello’s, emotional check-in, and stretching circle 9:30 AM - 10:00 AM Creative Movement • Let loose and explore rhythm and movement through playful activities and games. 10:10 AM -11:00 AM Dance Fundamentals: • Learn basic steps and techniques across dance genres like hip hop, jazz, and ballet 11:10 AM - 11:50 AM Alternating activities • Storytelling Through Dance: Express creativity and teamwork by turning stories into dances! • Props & Play: Spark imaginations with colorful props and fun themes that make learning exciting. • Musicality & Rhythm: Develop a sense of rhythm and learn to move with the music. 12:00 PM - 12:50 PM Lunch and general break 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM Children’s dance history Learn about different styles of dance and famous dancers throughout history 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM Dance Fundamentals Learn basic steps and techniques across different styles like hip hop, jazz, and ballet 2:30 PM - 3:00 PM Dance games and checkout Participate in games to reinforce what was learned, pack up belongings, and say goodbye. What to Bring: • Children’s Attire: Comfortable clothes for moving; leggings, t-shirts, socks, or bare feet. • Please ensure your child brings a water bottle, lunch and a snack. No nuts allowed on the premises.
