Instructor: Poison Ivory Thursday, 9/28 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Dare To Be Sexy: How to captivate your audience in ways that have nothing to do with fancy costumes or clever themes. Course description: Do you want to exude more confidence on stage or in your everyday life? Are you looking to take your audience to the next level but are unsure that you have what it takes? This class is here to help. We will cover techniques on breaking out of a performance rut, attacking choreography and themes by exploring different sides of your “alter ego.” Using Archetype Cards and a pair of gloves, Poison Ivory will teach participants on how to approach and explore new character traits and movements using easy exercises. Unleash your creativity, express your individuality, and take your performance to new heights in this transformative journey. About Poison Ivory: Leaning towards the classic side of the burlesque spectrum, her performance style can best described as a combination of sultry expression, sensual movement, and thoughtful musicality. A study in contrast, as her name and tagline suggest -Brown Sugar and Spice- she possesses the quick and the slow, the sweet and the nasty, the sultry and the innocent, and the ability to seamlessly transition between them. Cancellation Policy

You must notify Metropolitan Studios at least 3 hours before class starts, or class will be deducted from your account and considered “used” even though you were not present.
