Learn to create beautiful, flowing movements that will captivate any audience. Chair Work/Lap Dancing: Discover the art of working with a chair, with or without a partner. Dive deep into the sensual world of lap dancing and learn how to engage all your senses for an unforgettable performance. Improv Dance: Enhance your musicality and learn how to find both beats in a song (yes, even the stripper beat!). Sharpen your improv skills and always be ready to think on your toes, no matter the music. About Cocoa Pearlesque: The Chocolatey Treat Good Enough to Eat Born in the “Show Me State” of St. Louis, Missouri, and now calling Chicago home, Cocoa Pearlesque is a dynamic force in the world of burlesque. Known for her mesmerizing performances and as a trailblazing producer, Cocoa has made a lasting impact in both the Chicago and Milwaukee scenes. As the first BIPOC producer in Chicago to helm a bi-monthly, ALL BIPOC Burlesque Revue Cabaret in the Milwaukee/Wisconsin area, her company, Cocoa Pearlesque Presents, has been a beacon of diversity and inclusion for over four years. Cocoa's mission is to elevate and amplify the voices of BIPOC and Queer performers, ensuring every stage reflects the rich, vibrant tapestry of our communities. Cocoa thrives on teaching, finding purpose in helping others explore their own bodies through dance. Her classes are a fun, supportive space where students can learn everything from the sultry art of lap dance to the graceful flow of silks and the excitement of improvisation. Her expertise in flow art, musicality, and the tease of lap dance sets her apart as an instructor, making her workshops engaging, liberating, and full of life.
