Progressive Series 1: Bloomtastic

Class Description

Instructor: Bleu Pearl Mondays, 8:30 PM - 10:00 PM Six (6) weeks + student showcase Session 1: 10/14-11/18 Dress Rehearsal: January 19 Student Showcase: February 7 & 8 Price: $180 A beginner-friendly acro-chair series that focuses on flexibility, strength, balance, eye contact, and sensuality. Students will learn the proper body and leg positions. Bloomtastic helps students learn to maintain and improve their range of motion, with the goal of executing acro-chair moves safely, with minimal to no risk of injury. This series will include: • 40 minutes in acro • 20 minutes in dance • and the remaining time focusing on eye contact and connecting with ourselves so our movements flow effortlessly. Progressive students may have the opportunity to perform at the end of semester showcase. Students would be required to furnish their own costumes.  Learning Outcomes: • Learn one (1) choreographed routine per session • The importance of eye contact • Acro-chair tricks • Basic transitions What to Bring: • Dance/character shoes or strapped toe shoes with a 2–3-inch heel. Cancellation Policy

You must notify Metropolitan Studios at least 3 hours before class starts, or class will be deducted from your account and considered “used” even though you were not present.
