Class Description

Instructor: Zara Estelle Mondays, 7:00 PM - 8:15 PM Six (6) weeks + student showcase Series: 2/10-3/17 Dress Rehearsal: 4/18, 7:00 PM Showcase Dates: 5/9 and/or 10 Price: $180 Harlots & Starlets is your chance to explore your confidence and own your power. This course is for dancers of all levels looking to add sass and spice to their lives, build confidence, and embrace their sexuality. This course is all about the power of owning your sexual prowess. Learning Outcomes: • Learn one (1) choreographed routine.   • Learn to evaluate movement skills in terms of space, time, and force, and reproduce accurately through your own body. • Analyze a dance performance in terms of choreography, performance, and theatrical elements. • Demonstrate clarity of intent while applying kinesthetic principles for all dance elements.   What to Bring: • Dance/character shoes or strapped toe shoes with a 2–3-inch heel. • Other acceptable footwear includes jazz flats, salsa shoes, or barefoot. • Kneepads • Water About Us: Drenched 110 years of charm, Metropolitan Studios Arts & Movement Community is an affordable creative space in the heart of Atlanta’s East Atlanta Village.
