Whether you are an experienced burlesque babe, or a newbie to the stage, seeing through the eyes of burlesque's hidden hero, the "Stage Kitten" is a fantastic way to learn what it takes to make a great show happen. You will be guided through the process of preparing to kitten for a show. From what to wear and what to know (hello stage directions), to what producers may (or may not) expect from you. By the end of the workshop, you will understand what it means to be the first line of support for performers, stage managers, and audience members alike. Learn how to support, network, and entertain with grace while getting booked to kitten again and again! What to bring: •Shoes you might kitten in (we'll discuss) •Notebook and pen/pencil •Questions (we love those!) •An open mind This class is part of the Burlesque Academy I course and is also available as an independent workshop.
