About the Event

Oodles of Troodles & Roula Roulette Present: FATlanta! A Boutique Burlesque festival celebrating fat bodied performers

Atlanta based Burlesque producers Oodles of Troodles and Roula Roulette are partnering with Queer owned Arts and Community Space, Metropolitan Studios, to bring you FATlanta: A Celebration of Fat Liberation. This boutique festival will feature the “All Body Party - Burlesque Karaoke” show on Friday, March 4th and two opportunities to see “FATlanta” on Saturday, March 5th. With a day full of workshops, movement classes, and more - presented by our performers!

FATlanta: A Celebration of Fat Liberation is a boutique festival that seeks to showcase and celebrate fat and large bodied performers. Providing a space that centers bodies that are otherwise absent from many shows, Oodles and Roula are excited to showcase some of the best plus size talent available in the burlesque industry. Gathering from all over the united states, FATlanta showcases the talents of Rhoda Dairyheir, Beary Manatease, Queen of Hearts, Harpy L’Amour, Edith Meowt, Ebony Delight, Perpetua Bold, Catty Wompass, Obsidian, Crystal Black, Della-Kate Flower, Honey DeBunne, Tupelo Honey and Vida LaKitt.

Oodles and Roula are also thrilled to announce Mx. Pucks A’Plenty and Jezebel Express as the festival’s Featured Performers.

Mx. Pucks A’Plenty was voted #17 on the 21st Century Burlesque’s Top 50 Most Influential Performers in 2021. Pucks is the founder of Puckduction, an arts organization that produces Burlesque entertainment, educational events/conferences and video production and is the founder and Co-Producer of What The Funk, the Pacific Northwest’s only all BIPOC burlesque festival. They have dedicated their burlesque career to the success of marginalized performers - BIPOC, Queer, Non-Binary, Nuerodiverse, Fat, and Disabled - advocating for their space on stages everywhere.

Jezebel Express was voted #21 on the 21st Century Burlesque’s Top 50 Most Influential Performers in 2020. Featured in “Getting Naked: A Burlesque Story” Jezebel is a New York based internationally traveled artist. She instructs at the New York School of Burlesque and believes that glamour is for EVERYONE. She specializes in teaching choreography/dance storytelling, silk & feather fan dancing and body confidence workshops. (PS: Your body is fine.)
