Thick n' Frisky with Minnie Mercury 6-Week Series | April 19 – May 24 Sundays • 2:15 – 3:25 PM Tuition: $180 (Full Series) Production Dates (at Creatorspace): Dress Rehearsal: Thursday, August 20 Student Showcase: Sunday, August 30 Are you curvy, busty, and voluptuous in all the right places? If so, join us for Thick n' Frisky! Minnie Mercury will teach you how to shimmy and shake what your momma gave ya while teaching you how to dance and move as a larger-bodied performer. You will be surrounded by other bodacious beauties where you will learn a sexy, fun, and naughty choreographed burlesque number. Thick n' Frisky is specifically created for plus-sized humans to learn, move, and share resources with other plus-size humans! All levels are welcome, so whether you have been dancing since you could walk or have never done a grapevine a day in your life, you will fit right in! Please be mindful of your attendance at all classes. Your attendance is essential for the group dance choreography. Each class will be taught on the same day every week for a total of four (4) weeks. Learning Outcomes: Learn one (1) choreographed group routine. Receive a skill assessment. Those who meet performance criteria may be eligible to perform in a Candybox Revue burlesque stage show or future student showcase with an instructor. What to Bring: Dance/Character shoes or strapped toe shoes with 1-3 inch heel. Other acceptable footwear includes jazz flats, salsa shoes, or barefeet.
