Burlesque Academy
Learn the Art of The Tease™!
The Atlanta Burlesque Academy is designed to integrate up and coming performers and producers into the broader Burlesque industry. With a Winter/Spring and a Fall semester, students progress through four semesters, with a graduation occurring with either a fully realized solo performance, or by producing a fully realized burlesque show.
Semesters are typically 12-16 weeks. Students who hope to graduate must complete Burlesque I, II, III and all requisite workshops before progressing to Burlesque IV.
In Burlesque IV students work with a performance or production mentor for an entire semester to either create their graduation performance, or produce their graduation show. Typically it takes (2-3) semesters to successfully complete the requirements to move to Burlesque IV.

Please be mindful of your attendance at all classes. Your attendance is essential for the group dance choreography. Each class will be taught on the same day every week for a total of twelve (12) weeks broken into either:

two (2) six-week sessions

three (3) four-week sessions
Students who meet performance criteria may be eligible to perform in a Candybox Revue burlesque show or future student showcase with an instructor.
