Bloomtastic Burlesque
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
A beginner-friendly acro-chair series that focuses on flexibility, strength, balance, eye contact, and sensuality.
Students will learn the proper body and leg positions. This series enables students to maintain and improve their range of motion to execute acro-chair moves safely, with minimal to no risk of injury. This series will include 40 minutes in acro, 20 minutes in dance, and the remaining time focusing on eye contact, connecting with ourselves so our movements flow effortlessly.
Please be mindful of your attendance at all classes. Your attendance is essential for the group dance choreography. Each class will be taught on the same day every week (with the exception of the days listed above) for a total of twelve (12) weeks broken into two (2) six-week sessions, with the exceptions of the dates listed above.
Students are expected to provide basic "dance blacks" - black character shoes, black fishnets, black bra, and black shorts.

Receive a skill assessment. Those who meet performance criteria may be eligible to perform in a Candybox Revue burlesque stage show or future student showcase with an instructor.
WHAT TO BRING:
Dance/character shoes or strapped toe shoes with a 2–3-inch heel.
Other acceptable footwear includes jazz flats, salsa shoes, or barefoot.Kneepads
