Class Description

Instructor: Roula Roulette Schedule: Thursdays, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM Dates: 4 (four) week series 7/11-8/1 Dress Rehearsal: September 7 Student Showcase: September 28 Price: $125 Ready to shimmy and shine? This Intro to Burlesque course is your perfect first step! No experience necessary! We'll start by familiarizing you with burlesque language and movement style. You'll learn the basics of jazz dance moves like three-step turns, pivots, box steps, and stage walks. But it's not just about the steps! We'll delve into the energy of burlesque by exploring dynamics in rhythm, tension, and dramatic focus. By the end, you'll have mastered a fully choreographed routine as part of a stunning chorus line. This is a group dance series, so consistent attendance is key! Your presence is essential for perfecting the choreography and creating a show-stopping ensemble. We are an event venue, community gathering space, and Atlanta, Georgia’s Burlesque & Cabaret House, home to the Atlanta School of Burlesque and the award-winning Candybox Revue burlesque entertainment troupe. Cancellation Policy

You must notify Metropolitan Studios at least 3 hours before class starts, or class will be deducted from your account and considered “used” even though you were not present.
