Instructor: Zara Estelle Tuesdays: 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM 4 (four) week series 8/13-9/3 Dress Rehearsal: September 7 Student Showcase: September 28 Price: $125 Shake Your Tailfeather: Asselesque Ready to ditch the wallflower routine and embrace your inner firecracker? This high-energy, sass-tastic burlesque course is for anyone who wants to strut their stuff, own their sexuality, and have a blast doing it! Get ready to shimmy, shake, and leave your inhibitions at the door. What to expect: • Week 1 we will build our own assels to practice and perform in • Booty-shaking warm-up: Get your heart pumping and your confidence soaring with Zara Estelle’s “twerking tower of terror”, a fun and dynamic warm-up that'll get you feeling loose and ready to move. • Mastering the art of sass and ass: Learn sassy twerks, jiggles, bumps and grinds that will feature your assels • Shake it out to the beat: Move and groove to a killer playlist of empowering anthems that'll fuel your confidence and get your body moving in a supportive and inclusive environment, celebrate your body, your sass, and your right to express yourself unapologetically. This course is perfect for: • Dancers of all levels looking to add some sass and spice to their routine. • Individuals who want to build confidence, embrace their sexuality, and have a ton of fun. • Anyone who wants to channel their inner diva and leave their inhibitions at the door. Learning Outcomes: • You will learn 1 choreographed routine • Receive a skill assessment. Those who meet performance criteria may be eligible to perform in a Candybox Revue burlesque stage show or future student showcase with an instructor. What to bring: • Wear comfortable clothes that allow for movement (think booty shorts, crop tops, anything that makes you feel fierce!). • Heels or dance studio sneakers are optional, but feel free to bring them if you're comfortable. • A positive attitude, a ready smile, and your sassitude!" Cancellation Policy

You must notify Metropolitan Studios at least 3 hours before class starts, or class will be deducted from your account and considered “used” even though you were not present.
