The Art of Tantric Massage

Class Description

Instructor: Olivia 5/4 4:00 - 6:00 PM $25 Join us for a soothing journey with Olivia (@aivilOlivia) as she discusses and demonstrates how Tantric Massage can be an adventure of feeling balanced, relaxed, and in a state of ecstasy. What to Expect During This Class: - Basic overview of the origin of tantra - The difference between sensual, erotic, and tantric massage - The meaning of chakras and their function in our body - How tantric massage can be used before a scene and as aftercare - Applying consent and honoring boundaries - Honoring privacy and comfort - How relationship dynamics impact tantric massage - Deep breathing/meditation to set intentions - Tantric massage demonstration w/ Q&A What to Bring for this Class: A curious mind, open heart, and positive intentions. Attending with a partner is not necessary. Special considerations: This presentation involves discussion about genitalia and participants must be open to the presenter and other participants referencing these body parts. The presenter understands that gender, femininity, and masculinity are a spectrum that can be fluid and different for every individual, as such, every measure will be taken to honor this truth during discussion. About Olivia: This presentation is facilitated by Olivia (@aivilOlivia). She has been out in the kink community since 2016. Community education is important to her; she feels that helping people explore energy work is a valuable complement to other forms of play. Olivia has studied energy work for over a decade and has been practicing tantric massage since 2019. She has a holistic and inclusive way of being and feels that self-care, self-responsibility, spirituality, and reflection are important to connect to self and others. She is a clinical researcher and biomedical curriculum developer by profession; she is not a massage therapist.
